“Our vision at Stark Lane is reinvention of the recruitment industry through continuous advancements in quality and innovation while positively impacting the lives and careers of those we encounter along the way. It is safe to say we are on the right track.”

Stark Lane had the pleasure to once again be a part of The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Annual Conference. The NAPS 2017 Conference is the premier education opportunity representing the search, recruiting, and staffing industry. This year’s conference took place at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center.

The NAPS conference in Denver was possibly one of the best ones yet. Not only did our team leave with valuable takeaways, but our team also received recognition from the association. Our President and CEO, Ryan Scott, was recognized with the NAPS Board of Directors District Director of the Year Award and received the honor of nomination and advancement to the NAPS Executive Committee, where he will serve as Secretary/Treasurer in 2018. Our Director of Operations, Rudbekia Bach, was publicly recognized with the NAPS 2017 Shero Award, among all members, exhibitors, and conference attendees.

“While at NAPS, I reflected on the good fortune of our firm. We have one of the most talented teams in the country, we have awesome clients, and we are well positioned to do extraordinary and impossible things.” Said Scott. “Our vision at Stark Lane is reinvention of the recruitment industry through continuous advancements in quality and innovation while positively impacting the lives and careers of those we encounter along the way. It is safe to say we are on the right track.”

During the three-day conference, our team attended various sessions including Best Practices and Leadership Training as well as an Interactive Talent Acquisition Panel focused on building strong relationships with talent acquisition professionals. Among other memorable moments were the keynote speaker Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, a 6-time Olympic champion, and the auction of an autographed Peyton Manning football, from which the proceeds were donated towards the relief of those affected by the Hurricane in Florida and Texas. There was also a broad selection of exhibitors presenting the newest in recruiting, behavioral assessment, and reference vetting technology. The conference concluded on Friday, September 22nd.
